Please join us as Alamo AFCEA presents a Lunch & Learn discussion on Mobile Apps: From Concept to Marketplace, featuring Mr. John Nanna of FEDITC. 
This session will cover mobile application development -- specifically the types of apps being developed today and how they are developed, supporting trends (BYOD, MDM, Cloud), and then bring it all together in a way that connects to the government IT industry.
John Nanna has participated in the design and development of mobile applications for the Air Force and local government agencies. Most recently, John has developed mobile browser-based and native applications for Air Force Air Education Training Command, including Virtual Wingman and MTI Corps Application. He also created the Alamo ACE Conference Mobile Agenda for Alamo AFCEA. 
Lunch starts at 11:30 a.m., with panel discussion starting at 11:45 a.m.

Working in a team environment, John participated in the design and development of mobile application for the Air Force and local government agencies. Some of these application include:

Air Force Air Education Training Command – Virtual Wingman
The Air Education and Training Command (AETC) Virtual Wingman Mobile Application Advanced Learning Technology Demonstration (ALTD) is publically available to Airmen and the supporting community providing:
• A “Virtual Wingman” while Airmen are away from direct supervision
• Safety and wellness information
• Air Force News and related materials including resources and videos
• Information related to mishap/suicide prevention provided in Basic Military and Technical Training

Air Force Air Education Training Command – MTI Corps Application
This application is to be supported across multiple mobile devices capable of accessing the Apple Marketplace, Android Marketplace, and Blackberry App World. The mobile application will contain static content such as the Military Training Instructor Mission, Eligibility Requirements, Application Process, Military Training Instructor School, the Shadow Program, and other information related to the MTI program.

Alamo ACE Conference Mobile Agenda
This application was developed to provide attendees of the Alamo ACE Conference a mobile agenda and up to the date conference information while on in attendance. This application includes the agenda, floor plan, sponsors, general information, exhibit map, etc.
